Reverse osmosis membrane blockage and rupture
This is the main reason for substandard water quality. In a customer we serviced, we learned that their reverse osmosis equipment was less than a year old and had already had its reverse osmosis membrane element replaced once. This clearly indicates that the manufacturer deliberately used old membranes instead of new ones to deceive customers. Because reverse osmosis membrane elements play a crucial role in reverse osmosis equipment, the quality of the output water largely depends on the quality of the membrane elements.
Lack of attention to daily equipment maintenance
Some customers, after purchasing reverse osmosis equipment, do not pay enough attention to daily maintenance and do not regularly clean the pretreatment system or regenerate the resin as required by the manufacturer. Of course, some customers have also reported that the manufacturer did not inform them about daily maintenance during installation. Therefore, customers should thoroughly communicate with the manufacturer when purchasing reverse osmosis equipment and clarify the daily maintenance procedures. Our company currently provides a one-year warranty and lifetime maintenance service. Some customers, to save manpower and resources, outsource the daily maintenance of the equipment (such as regeneration and cleaning) to our company. This is also a highly efficient method that is beneficial for extending the equipment's lifespan.
Equipment damage caused by improper human operation
This is a common problem faced by many customers. Many customers are unfamiliar with the operation procedures of reverse osmosis equipment, and equipment damage often occurs due to incorrect steps during operation. Operators should strictly follow the steps in the operating instructions. If they encounter uncertainties or do not know how to operate, they should contact the engineer in time, either by phone or by dispatching professional personnel to the site to assist with the operation. The company usually arranges for engineers to provide one-on-one guidance on the equipment regeneration and cleaning procedures until the customer fully understands them. Of course, for safety reasons, it is best to hire personnel who understand the operation procedures of water treatment equipment or outsource the daily maintenance of the equipment to the reverse osmosis equipment supplier.
Water quality still does not meet standards after replacing the new membrane
Water treatment equipment is a multi-stage filtration equipment. Some customers have reported that the water quality does not meet standards after replacing the brand-new reverse osmosis membrane. Changhai Environmental Protection suggests that when replacing the new membrane, the front-end pretreatment (sand, carbon, softening filtration) filter materials should also be replaced. Generally, the replacement cycle for these filter materials is one year. In addition to the above reasons, the following problems may also cause the water quality to not meet standards after replacing the new membrane:
1. Changes in raw water (inlet water) quality;
2. Possible equipment component failures.
