　　1 Correct material selection and design: There are many types of materials, and different types of materials have different corrosion rates in different environments. We should selectively choose materials with good physical and mechanical properties, low corrosion, and relatively low cost that meet the design requirements of specific environments.

　　2 Adjusting the environment: Improve the local environment. If conditions permit, it is recommended to use mild media instead of strongly corrosive media in the process.

　　3 Adding corrosion inhibitors: Corrosion inhibitors are divided into three categories: gas phase, organic, and inorganic corrosion inhibitors. Generally, adding a small amount of corrosion inhibitor to the corrosive environment can slow down the corrosion of the metal.

　　4 Cathodic protection: Cathodic protection is a method that relies on an externally applied direct current or sacrificial anode to make the protected metal the cathode, thereby reducing or eliminating metal corrosion.

　　7 Surface treatment: Before the metal is put into contact with the service environment, it is treated with a passivator or film-forming agent to form a stable and dense passivation film on the surface, greatly increasing the corrosion resistance.

　　8 Metal plating and cladding: A thin layer of more corrosion-resistant metal can be used to protect the steel substrate.

　　9 Coating: Using organic coatings to protect metal structures in the atmosphere is the most widely used corrosion prevention method.

　　10 Lining: Linings are generally whole pieces of material and are suitable for the interior of equipment that comes into contact with strongly corrosive media.
