I. Industrial Principle of EDI ultrapure water equipment
1. After entering the EDI module, RO water is evenly distributed into the freshwater chamber.
2. Trace ions not removed by the RO membrane are adsorbed on the membrane surface by the ion exchange resin in the freshwater chamber.
3. Direct current is applied to the two electrodes of the EDI module, driving the anions and cations in the freshwater chamber to migrate to the corresponding electrodes in the concentrate chamber, thereby producing high-purity water.
4. Under the action of the electric field, water molecules are largely ionized into H+ and OH-, continuously regenerating the ion exchange resin.

II. Industrial Operation methods of EDI ultrapure water equipment
1. In case of failure of the industrial EDI ultrapure water equipment, please immediately close the tap water inlet valve and cut off the water supply to the water purifier. Do not disassemble it yourself.
2. In case of tap water outage, please open the drain faucet to drain the mud, rust, etc. in the tap water pipe before using the purified water.
3. The total water output of the industrial EDI ultrapure water equipment is related to the influent water quality. If the influent water quality of the industrial EDI ultrapure water equipment is good, the total water output will increase; conversely, if the influent water quality is poor, the total water output will decrease, and the service life of the filter element will be slightly shorter.
4. If the industrial EDI ultrapure water equipment is not used for more than three days, it should be repeatedly flushed for 2-5 minutes until the stored water in the industrial pure water equipment is drained.
5. With the long-term use of the industrial EDI ultrapure water equipment, its water output will gradually decrease, but the water quality is still qualified and can be used with confidence.
6. After use, the ultrafiltration membrane filter element should be kept moist. If the ultrafiltration membrane filter element is dried, the water output will decrease sharply and cannot be recovered.
7. The compatibility between reagents should be considered, and then the compatibility between reagents and membrane materials should be considered. For example, coagulants, flocculants, bactericides, reducing agents, and scale inhibitors are often used simultaneously in RO systems. Since the limbs in natural water generally carry a negative charge, cationic coagulants with a positive charge are usually used.
