1. Integrated filter device methods: One method uses a polyester fiber tube as a filter medium, commonly known as a "paper core." Polyester fiber tube filtration provides good water clarity, reaching 8 microns, but the precision gradually decreases to 40 microns with use. Therefore, regular cleaning is required based on filtration conditions. The filter core needs to be manually removed and rinsed with a high-pressure faucet. The cleaning frequency is determined by the change in filter pressure. The disadvantage is that the polyester fiber filter core is a consumable item, and its lifespan depends on usage. Another method uses non-woven fabric, typically in a "bag" style, placed at the water pump's suction or discharge port. The overall water output effect is generally average, with low filtration precision. The filter bag often becomes blocked, and water pump pressure causes particles to penetrate the filter bag, failing to achieve the desired water treatment effect. Therefore, manual removal and frequent rinsing of the filter bag are required, wasting significant manpower.

2. Traditional sand filter methods:

There are generally three circulating filtration methods: co-current flow, counter-current flow, and mixed flow.

Generally, quartz sand is used as the filter medium, resulting in high water clarity and turbidity less than 2 degrees. With use, debris accumulates in the sand filter, increasing pressure. This pressure is reflected by a pressure gauge installed outside the sand filter. Once a certain pressure is reached, manual backwashing is required. This operation is convenient, simple, and hygienic. Fully automatic sand filters can automatically detect and backwash.
