  1. For relatively complex water purification equipment, such as reverse osmosis water purification systems, maintenance can be entrusted to the manufacturer every three to six months. When repairing or replacing filter elements and consumables, mark the pipelines or parts before disconnecting them to ensure that they are reconnected to the correct positions.

  2. Backwashing of the pretreatment system. This work requires the customer's cooperation for self-cleaning. If personnel are not available, it can be made into a fully automatic backwashing system when customizing the equipment.

  3. The reverse osmosis membrane of the unused pure water equipment should be regularly flushed at low pressure, especially in summer, once per shift. If the shutdown time is longer than 7 days, a 0.5-1% sodium bisulfite or 0.5-1% formaldehyde solution should be used to protect the reverse osmosis membrane of the pure water equipment. The pH value and concentration of the protective solution should be checked in time.

  4. Regular backwashing of the mechanical filter of the pure water equipment. During backwashing, compressed air friction is used. After the backwashing is qualified, let it stand for about 10 minutes before forward washing. Only after the forward washing water is qualified can it be put into use. Do not allow air to enter the reverse osmosis membrane. Without affecting the SDI value, the running time of the mechanical filter of the pure water equipment should be extended as much as possible, which reduces the impact of switching filters on the effluent water quality and saves a lot of backwashing water.

  5. Pure water equipment cleaning using physical principles. A simple physical cleaning method is to use low-pressure, high-velocity membrane permeate water to rinse for 30 minutes. This can restore the water permeability of the membrane to a certain extent, but if the time is long, the water permeability will still decrease. A mixture of water and air can also be used to rinse the membrane surface at low pressure for 15 minutes. This method is effective for cleaning membranes initially contaminated with organic matter.

  6. Reverse osmosis membrane cleaning, citric acid solution. Under high or low pressure, the membrane is continuously or cyclically rinsed with a 1%-2% citric acid aqueous solution. This method has a good cleaning effect on Fe(OH)3 pollution, and this method is particularly effective for organic matter pollution in pure water equipment. Water-soluble emulsion is very effective for cleaning membranes contaminated with oil and iron oxide in pure water equipment, generally cleaning for 30-60 minutes.
