Product Description

Process Description

  The reverse osmosis host is an integrated reverse osmosis desalination device composed of components such as a rack, membrane shell, and membrane element. The rack is generally made of stainless steel or carbon steel spray-painted welding. The membrane shell is made of fiberglass or stainless steel pressure membrane shell. The membrane element is selected according to different water quality, water volume, and water production requirements. The reverse osmosis membrane is a semi-permeable membrane that only allows water to pass through but not solutes. After reverse osmosis, most ions, organic matter, and microorganisms in the water can be removed.

Instructions for Use

  Inspection before starting the reverse osmosis device
  (1) Before feeding water into the R0 system, the pretreatment system must be running properly and must meet all guidelines. It must be ensured that the purity of the chemicals added to the system meets the requirements;
  (2) Check the system for leaks;
  (3) Whether the pump is ready for operation (lubrication, smooth rotation); whether there is any looseness in the electrical connection; open the high-pressure pump vent valve to vent;
  (4) Whether the permeate pipeline and discharge valve are open;
  (5) Whether the bypass valve has been adjusted to control the water inflow to less than 50% of normal operation.
  (1) Manual operation
  (1) Preparation before operation
  Before starting, open the water inlet valve, high-pressure pump regulating valve, fresh water valve, concentrated water valve, and main power supply. Close the backwashing valve and chemical liquid inlet pump valve.
  (2) System operation
  After the above preparations are completed, press the high-pressure pump operation button to rinse the membrane element with low pressure (low-pressure rinsing is generally used when new R0 membrane elements are put into use and after chemical cleaning) for 0.5~1.0 hours, and the concentrated water and fresh water are fully discharged. Then adjust the high-pressure pump pressure regulating valve (the valve opening adjusted for the first time can be no longer adjusted), concentrated water valve, and fresh water valve to make the operating pressure 1.0±0.3MPa and reach the design flow rate. The equipment enters normal operation. The equipment will automatically rinse for 1 minute every hour of operation (the automatic timed discharge valve opens for rinsing for one minute), and after rinsing, the automatic discharge valve closes and the equipment enters the normal working state. If the water production exceeds the standard, the unqualified water (the over-standard discharge valve will automatically open until the water production is qualified before automatically closing) needs to be discharged. After the water production is qualified, it can enter the R0 water tank.
  (2) Automatic operation
  Since various operation programs of the equipment have been programmed and stored in the PLC programmable controller, when the reverse osmosis is running, turn on the power switch, start the run button, the reverse osmosis PLC programmable controller issues a work instruction, the high-pressure pump automatically starts, the corresponding working valves open and run, and the on-board instruments start to work. Check whether there are any abnormal situations at each working point (the fault indicator lights are normally not on). If there are no abnormalities, the reverse osmosis is put into normal operation.
  The main steps of automatic operation of reverse osmosis are:
  (1) Check that all pipelines are unobstructed and leak-free;
  (2) Turn on the run button (open the valve pressure regulating valve, water inlet valve, and water outlet valve), and the high-pressure pump starts to work;
  (3) Adjust the bypass valve to control the high-pressure pump pressure, and adjust the water inlet valve and concentrated water regulating valve to control the system pressure and the flow rate of concentrated water and fresh water;
  (4) Automatic water quality detection (automatic discharge);
  (5) The concentrated water discharge valve automatically opens and discharges every hour of operation.
  The main contents of reverse osmosis automatic control include:
  (1) Automatic control of over-high/low pressure;
  (2) Automatic timed discharge of concentrated water;
  (3) Online automatic water quality detection:
  (4) Automatic discharge of unqualified water;
  (5) Fault prompts, etc.
  R0 system shutdown
  (1) Normal shutdown
  Before shutdown, first open the concentrated water valve to allow the equipment to enter the rinsing state, rinse for 5 minutes to remove the high salt content in the membrane group, and then close the high-pressure pump power supply and all operating valves (the equipment must be filled with water), and the equipment enters the shutdown state.
  (2) Abnormal shutdown
  In case of emergency situations such as sudden power failure, water outage, or unpredictable events, first turn off the high-pressure pump and raw water pump, then turn off the power supply, and then turn off the water source of all valves.

System Maintenance and Maintenance

  (1) When the precision filter cartridge has been used for a certain period of time and cannot meet the water output requirements, it needs to be replaced.
  (2) For long-term operation of the system, general inspection and maintenance are required every six months.
  (3) Electrical components should avoid direct contact with water.
  (4) If the R0 system is shut down for 2-5 days, it must be noted that: membrane elements cannot be stored under dry conditions, dry elements will lose flux and cannot be recovered; ensure that the system is protected from extreme temperature changes. To prevent microbial growth, rinse the R0 device using the low-pressure rinsing method every 2 days or operate it under operating conditions for 1-2 hours, and operate it once a day in summer.
  (5) If the machine is shut down for 5-30 days, rinse the R0 device using the low-pressure rinsing method or operate it under operating conditions for 1-2 hours, and repeat the above operation once a day.
  (6) Maintenance for long-term shutdown:
  First, clean the membrane element (cleaning method see reverse osmosis system cleaning), and then fill it with 0.1~1.0% sodium bisulfite (or formaldehyde) solution as a bactericide and protective liquid for long-term shutdown of the reverse osmosis system (Note: the membrane element can be contacted with formaldehyde at least 24 hours after use). When used again, discharge the protective liquid, and rinse the membrane element with low pressure until the pH value of the effluent is the same as the pH value of the influent before it can be put into use.
  Before restarting the equipment, carefully check if all components are functioning properly. If any abnormalities are found, they should be replaced or repaired immediately.
  Note: In case of any discrepancies between this manual and the operating procedures, the operating procedures shall prevail.
