Ultrafiltration system

Reverse osmosis is a membrane separation technology that uses a selectively permeable (semi-permeable) membrane and pressure as the driving force. When the applied pressure exceeds the osmotic pressure of the feed water, water molecules continuously pass through the membrane, flow into the central tube through the product water channel, and then exit from one end. Impurities in the water, such as ions, organic matter, bacteria, and viruses, are retained on the feed water side of the membrane and then exit from the concentrate water outlet, thereby achieving separation and purification.

Ultrafiltration system

Product Description

Ultrafiltration is a pressure-driven membrane separation technology. Under a certain pressure, small molecule solutes and solvents pass through a specially made membrane with a certain pore size, while macromolecular solutes cannot pass through and remain on one side of the membrane, thus partially purifying the macromolecular substances. The principle of ultrafiltration is also a membrane separation process principle. Ultrafiltration uses a pressure-active membrane to retain colloids, particles, and substances with relatively high molecular weight in water under the action of external driving force (pressure), while water and small solute particles pass through the membrane. Substances with a molecular weight of 3x10000-1x10000 can be retained by microporous screening on the membrane surface. When the water to be treated passes through the membrane surface at a certain flow rate with the help of external pressure, water molecules and solutes with a molecular weight of less than 300-500 pass through the membrane, while particles and macromolecules larger than the membrane pores are retained due to the sieving effect, thus purifying the water. In other words, after the water passes through the ultrafiltration membrane, most of the colloidal silica in the water can be removed, and a large amount of organic matter can also be removed.
